Nathan Edmondston

Nathan has over 20 years’ experience in varying project types, from small residential alterations to large scale institutional projects.

With a passion for environmentally sustainable design, Nathan has explored methods to improve the environmental credentials of various building typologies. Nathan also has significant experience in remediation works on historical buildings.

Nathan was recently part of the team that delivered the award-winning net-zero electricity Motueka Public Library. Utilising a full mass-timber structure, the 1,100m² library incorporates sustainable design methodologies throughout.

Nathan is a Certified Passive House Designer, and has recently completed design and construction of his second passive house, which has been rated Homestar 10 by the New Zealand Green Building Council.
