This commercial development is designed to enhance the urban environment and to reduce energy consumption. Public access through the site is encouraged with pedestrian routes, active frontages and the provision of a café and outdoor dining area.
Windows are protected with wide overhangs to reduce solar gain, with external sun-louvres provided to the northern façades. Eaves on the principal facades are angular and the palette of materials and colours is varied around the exterior of the building to provide variety, modelling and identity.
