Karl is an Associate based in our Nelson office. He has led master planning, design and documentation for projects ranging across residential, multi-unit residential, commercial, medical, scientific and education facilities.

Karl is adept at managing complex technical, on-site and stakeholder requirements across all project types, and has strong networks across the Nelson-Tasman region and South Island.

Karl was the lead designer for the award-winning Bragato Research Institute (BRI) Research Winery, the first building in Marlborough to achieve Green Star NZ Industrial Built v3 Certified rating. Karl subsequently led the design of The New Zealand Wine Centre Te Pokapū Wāina o Aotearoa which was award Winner in the Commercial category at the NZIA Local Awards 2023.
