This project involved the design of three 2 bedroom duplex units, one 3 bedroom duplex unit and 2 stand alone units for the existing Tukurua Campground.

Units have been carefully located in the camp ground to maintain existing camp sites and address the sensitive costal environment.  Nestled on the rear sloping dunes to the south the 2 bedroom duplex units have vistas to the sea.  The 3 bed duplex and stand alone units enjoy a more private setting, sitting closer to the ground facing the creek.

Shiplap and plywood is used to clad the exterior, with steel posts that support the deck, floors and roof paying homage to the tent structures that surround them.
