This commission was won through an invited competition.  The project for the Richmond Baptist Church guides future development of the site for the expansion of the church.

An analysis of current and anticipated accommodation needs, together with a detailed analysis of the site and it surrounds was carried out.  A master plan was formed and includes new patterns of circulation, car parking and extensions to existing buildings.

The proposed design features a new 800 seat Worship Centre, external meeting area- termed the Agora, and a campanile.

Resource Consent was granted August 2008
